More than a bouquet. It's a little piece of the farm.

I don't order a box of flowers and arrange them into a bouquet. I grow them.

I spend months preparing the soil, planting seeds, tending plants, fighting Texas heat, protecting flowers from hungry rabbits, and waiting (sometimes impatiently) for them to bloom.

Then I harvest them at just the right time and turn them into something beautiful for you.

Whenever possible, the flowers in your bouquet are grown right here on my farm.

That means your flowers change with the seasons. Spring might bring delicate ranunculus and roses. Summer brings zinnias, sunflowers and celosia. Fall brings an abundance of flowers in rich, warm colors and Winter brings tulips while we anxiously await spring.

Every bouquet is a little different because every season is different.

Why flowers?

Because sometimes a bouquet is never just a bouquet... It's a bright spot on the kitchen counter. It's a reminder that someone is thinking about you. It's a little encouragement on a difficult day.

Most importantly, it's a simple way to tell someone, "You are loved."
(Even if that someone is you, reminding yourself.)

That's why I grow flowers.

And through Blooms Because, I get to share that love not only with you, but throughout our community through donated flowers that I like to call "Blessing Bouquets." I've donated over a thousand bouquets to date and know the best is yet to come.
